The Skyline Crossover uses the legendary Skyline sedan as a base and is a fusion of the coupe and the SUV. In its 4635mm by 1800mm short and wide body, a high exhaust 3.7L engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift realizes sharp response, 330 hp, and a high fuel efficiency of up to 9.7 km/l. This engine comes mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and receives both FR and 4WD variants. The Skyline Crossover Type P variants that come equipped with an around-view monitor are also available.
Available as optional upgrades on the Skyline Crossover are a lane departure warning system that warns the driver using a buzzer and display when the vehicle drifts away from the lane, a lane departure prevention that controls the car's brakes and generates force in the direction of the lane, as well as a forward collision warning system. Standard features include power windows, central door locking system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering tilt mechanism, and 18-inch wheels. For safety features, the Skyline Crossover comes with front driver and passenger as well as side airbags, ABS, EBD, and side impact bar.
