- What other charges am I supposed to pay?
- In addition to CIF price and duty, you need to pay port charges, shipping line charges, clearing agency fee, number plate fee and vehicle registration fee before you start driving. The port charge depends on the size of vehicle and CIF value. The shipping line charge depends on shipping company. The plate number charge is Tsh40,000. The registration fee depends on engine consumption of your vehicle.

- BE FORWARD can do clearing for you in Dar es Salaam. You can save time and money by using our service without any worries.
- How much does it cost for clearing of my vehicle?
- The clearing agency fee is Tsh295,000 including VAT for any kind of vehicle.
- What am I supposed to bring in to BE FORWARD clearing agent?
- You need to give the agent your TIN number and ID copy.
- Can you deliver vehicle to my region?
- We have delivery service to Zanzibar, Arusha, Mwanza and Mbeya. You can find our price list from here.
- How to import my vehicle?
- BE FORWARD has local clearing and forwarding agent in your country for supporting your import procedure.
Q1: What can BE FORWARD agents do?
A1: Essentially takes care of the customs clearance and transportation.
Such as below.
・Arrange to pass the relevant documents at customs and authorities.
・Calculations and Check the process of "Duty and VAT payments" as applicable.
・Arrange Transportation service if needed.
・Supporting best route for the import procedure.
・Ensure smooth and timely shipment of goods.
Q2: What do I need to do if I want to apply for the import service?
A2: Please select your "Delivery Destination" at the time you select your vehicle.
Q3: What am I supposed to do after requesting for the import service?
A3: Please send the Copy of your ID to BE FORWARD Clearing agent as soon as possible.
Our agent will prepare for the import process.
Q4: What am I suppose to do after vessel arrival?
A4: Our agent calculates Duty, Tax and Local charge etc...
After you made the payment of those charges, your vehicle will be released from Port or Border facilities.
Q5: What is included in your service?
A5: Please check the service detail.
Q6: Are import service price negotiable?
A6: Yes it is!! Please contact our local office or visit them.
Q7: If my vehicle has already departed from Japan, will I not be able to use your BE FORWARD import service?
A7: You can still use our service!!

- BE FORWARD offers spare parts both online and at our local Kariakoo. If you are in hurry to find spare parts of your vehicle, visit Kariakoo. You may find the one you want from our stock.
- Do you have local stock of spare parts?
- Currently we don't have local stock in Tanzania except BE FORWARD's original engine oil "Platinum", however Be Forward Kariakoo can provide the consultation and place an order for you.
