Developed primarily in Europe is Nissan's mid-size crossover SUV, the Qashqai. Now in its second generation, the first generation Qashqai was previously marketed as the Nissan Dualis in the Japanese and Australian markets until 2014. The Qashqai uses a 2L series 4 cylinder MR20DE engine and either FF or fulltime 4WD with Xtronic CVT, outputting a horsepower and torque of 137ps (101kW) /5200rpm, and 20.4kg/m (200N/m) /4400rpm respectively. Gas usage of the Qashqai remains at a mere 11.8 to 13.0 km/l. In the middle of the Qashqai's large meter is a vehicle information display that uses a 3.6 inch high contrast LCD screen for higher visibility, and that is capable of displaying gas mileage, remaining possible travel distance, and other essential information.
