Currently the largest SUV in production by Toyota, the full-sized SUV Sequoia gives you the power and practicality to dominate every road trip. The Tundra pick-up based Sequoia was first produced in 2000 with a 4.7L 240 hp V8 eight-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, and in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions. Now in its second generation, the Sequoia comes with a 5.7L V8 eight-cylinder 381 hp engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission in rear-wheel drive as standard (optional 4WD). Fuel efficiency is estimated at 6.4 km/l. Smaller 4.6L and 4.7L V8 engines can be found in 2010 – 2012 and 2008 – 2009 Sequoias, respectively.
The 2016 Sequoia receives a wealth of standard equipment, such as a 6.1-inch touch screen, satellite radio, CD player, Bluetooth, USB and aux ports, moonroof, and cruise control. The same model year Sequoia also comes fitted with safety features like a backup camera, dual-stage advanced front airbags, seat-mounted side airbags for the driver and front passenger, driver and front passenger knee bags, roll-sensing side-curtain airbags for all three seating rows, and traction and stability control.
