With great history, the Toyota Corolla has become a widespread model on a global scale. It first came out way back in 1966 and a sub-name was introduced by 2006, which is the Corolla Axio. The Corolla was created with three top priorities and that's security, safety, and comfort. The car can easily seat 4-5 people even with luggage. With an inline-four engine, it does not lack power for a minimally sized car. Choose between the CVT (Continuosly Variable Transmission) and manual transmission based on your driving preferences. Pick the Four Wheel Drive for more stability in cornering or the Two Wheel Drive if you want to save on fuel.
The 11th generation model sedan "Corolla Axio" keeps in with the original goal of the Corolla to be a minimum sized car that four adults can travel long distances safely and comfortably.
In addition to the in-line 4-cylinder DOHC 1.5L "1NZ-FE", the engine of newer generations which was installed include a lineup of "1NR-FE" of inline 4-cylinder DOHC 1.3L which was not available in the previous generation. The transmission is an improvement to Super CVT-i which was adopted by the predecessor to the Axio, which judges deceleration and turning force from the G sensor of the vehicle and suppresses unnecessary upshift. Newer models of the Corolla Axio have been reduced in length by 50 mm (from 60 mm), while the body has been made more compact with small turning, the rear knee space in the Axio was enlarged by 40 mm and offers a relaxed and comfortable indoor space.
