The Toyota Hiace Truck was manufactured until its 4th generation, and discontinued from the HiAce series from 5th generation. The engines are 2.4L inline-four diesel (U-LH80) with 85 horsepower of performance, and 2.8L inline-four diesel (KC-LY101) with 91 horsepower. This series has been available up to 2004. Maximum loading capacity is 1 ton. The drivetrains are available for both 2WD and 4WD with manual transmission only. Thanks to its considerably low height, load ability is one of the advantages of this famous truck. The name for the truck was discontinued but now Toyoace Cargo is actively on the roads as a replacement.
