At the top of Mercedes-Benz's convertible lineup sits the SL-Class roadster. The SL-Class comes with a retractable hard top, although a soft top was available in older editions before 2001. Gasoline engines included a 1.6L 156 hp and a 3.0L V6 turbocharged capable of 333 hp. It also was available with a 2.2L turbodiesel rated between 170 and 204 hp.

GT C Roadster

The GT C Roadster is an aggressively styled performance beast. It features the AMG Dynamics integrated driving control system for more agility and better handling, as well as a steering wheel with black Nappa leather and Dinamica microfiber on the inside. It comes powered by a 4.0L V8 turbocharged gasoline capable of 585 hp.

CLE Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz has consolidated the E- and C-Class Cabriolets into CLE Cabriolet. The CLE combines the agility of the C-Class with the comfort of the E-Class. On lower grades, Artico artificial leather was the standard material for the interior, though this could be upgraded to Nappa leather. Engines were 2.0L and 3.0L mild hybrid turbo petrol, a 2.0L plug-in hybrid petrol, and a 2.0L mild-hybrid diesel.
