The Santa Fe is a premium all-rounded SUV that incorporates all the pros of the sedan and the minivan in one compact package to suit any and every lifestyle.
Onboard the Santa Fe is either a 2.4/4 cylinder, or 2.7/6 cylinder DOHC regular gasoline engine. The powerful 2.4 and 2.7L engines are capable of generating horsepower and torque of 142PS/5500rpm with 20.3kgm/4000rpm, and 169PS/6000rpm with 25.0kgm/4000rpm respectively. The Santa Fe comes in either a FF drivetrain (2.4GLS model) or a fulltime 4WD integrating center differential (2.7GLS model). Additionally, the 4-speed automatic transmission equipped with H-matic is capable of manual-like gear operations.
The window of the hatch-type rear door can be independently operated, allowing for easy loading and unloading in tight areas. The rear row of seats can also be folded down to make room for more trunk storage space. The 2.7GLS is luxuriously furnished with a leather wrapped steering wheel, front fog lights, and 16 inch aluminum tires.
All models of the Santa Fe are equipped with standard safety features like dual and side airbags, ABS with EBD (electronic brake force distribution), BTCS (brake traction control system) and seatbelts with pretentioner and load limiter.
