As per its model name, the 2-door full 4-seater A5 coupe and convertibles occupy the space between Audi's A4 and A6. The A5 offers a next-generation dynamic performance and ride comfort with an elegant and emotion coupe design. Upon release, the Audi A5 came with a 3.2L 261 hp V6 six-cylinder premium gasoline engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with full-time four-wheel drive. More recent model years of the A5, such as the 2015 edition receive a 2.0L 208 hp inline four-cylinder intercooled turbo premium gasoline unit mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and in fulltime four-wheel drive. Fuel efficiency for this model year is around 13.6 km/l.
Standard features on the 2015 A5 include Audi's Multi-Media Interface made up of a rotary controller and center-mounted display, power locks, windows, automatic climate control, a 10-speaker AM/FM/CD/satellite radio audio system, push-button start with keyless entry and leather seating. For safety features, the 2015 A5 is fitted with anti-lock disc brakes, stability and traction control, and full-length side curtain airbags.
