The Audi A4 is the premium mid-sized sedan that combines luxury and fuel economy. They have continued the Audi 80 model which came out in 1972. The latest model, which is the eighth generation in its line, can be powered by either a 1.8L turbo engine or a 3.2L V6 engine. Fuel economy was greatly improved in a design change that repositioned the front axles and steering gearbox. The overhang was also shortened to make a long wheelbase. With the improved weight distribution, fuel efficiency is drastically improved. Choose between the Automatic, CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), and Manual Transmission model. The Manual Transmission was produced up until 2001 while the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) became available starting from 2001. Starting in late 2007, Audi began to equip all models of the A4 with an HDD navigation system as standard equipment. Different grades were also introduced around this time which included "3.2 FSI Quattro", "2.0 TFSI Quattro", "2.0 Attraction" and "1.8 T" for each engine unit. Additionally, "Luxury Line Plus" and "Dynamic Line Plus" were set as options for each grade base model. The Luxury Line Plus is equipped with comfort specifications such as side airbags (rear), rain sensor/autolight, automatic anti-glare mirrors, wood panel, bi-xenon package, 17-inch aluminum wheels. The Dynamic Line Plus has sport specifications including a plus S-line dedicated bumper, side door protector, and 7 twin-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels.
