The Opel Vectra covers its most important middle-range segment with 4-door sedan, 3-door hatchback and 5-door station wagon with spacious luggage room. The engines available are 2.2-Liter in-line-four DOHC (Double Overhead Cam) 147ps/20.7kgm (TA-Z02Z22) and 3.2-Liter V6 211ps/30.6kgm (TA-Z02Z32) both gasoline-powered. The transmission is 5-speed AT with drive train FF (Front Engine Front Drive). Suspensions are McPherson strut in front and 4-link in rear. Safety devices are dual & side airbags, ABS (Antilock Brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). The name Vectra disappeared with its 3rd generation in 2006.
