Volvo's C30 is a four-seater, three-door premium hatchback coupe that possesses exceptional performance, sportiness and character in its short and wide body. While it was discontinued in 2013, its cutting-edge design lets it continue to take on models in today’s market. The final 2012 model year of the C30 comes powered by a 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine that makes 143 hp and is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission in its 2.0e Aktiv trim, or a 2.5L inline five-cylinder turbo engine capable of 227 hp and mated to a five-speed automatic transmission in its T5 R-Design trim. Only an FF layout is available for this model year. Fuel efficiency is estimated at 10.8 to 11.6 km/l. Older editions, such as the 2007 model year, are available with either a 2.4L inline five-cylinder engine for 168 hp or a 2.5L inline five-cylinder turbo engine for 227 hp.
Standard safety features on the 2012 C30 include front and side airbags, and side-curtain airbags with rollover sensors, electronic stability control and anti-lock brakes, while the list of standard equipment features cruise control, trip computer, Bluetooth hands-free compatibility, air-conditioning, power windows and locks, and a steering wheel with tilt and telescoping mechanism.
