The BMW 5 series has evolved with numerous minor changes through the years. The latest version is an impressive upper middle range sedan that has everything you're looking for in a BMW. It has a wagon option if you need more trunk space. Choose between the inline-six and V8 engines for optimum power. It's only available in automatic transmission for a smooth driving experience.
Two packages were offered as early as 2004 which included the "Hi-Line" which is equipped with featured such as leather seats with seat heaters in each grade and the "M-Sport" with aero parts, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and sports suspension built in. In addition, the 5 series also has an "M5" sport version which is equipped with 6 MT in 4.9 L V8 of 400 horsepower.
The 5 series offers a multifunction steering wheel and DVD navigation system which are standard on its models. Safety mechanisms and equipment include dual and ITS head with front and rear side airbags, ABS, (automatic stability traction control) and seat belt with catch-tensioner are standard. The sedan system has both left and right handles, with most models having the tooling on the right handle only, while the M5 is the setting of the left handle only.
