4 Series Coupe

One step up from the 2 Series in terms of size and performance is the BMW 4 Series compact coupe. M4 Coupe

The M4 Coupe is the high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series Coupe. The first generation (2014–2020) is powered by a 3.0 L twin-turbo inline six-cylinder rated at 425 hp mated to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed manual dual-clutch transmission. The M4 gets a roof, boot lid, and engine brace made with carbon fiber, as well as a specifically tuned electric power steering unit and lightweight forged alloy wheels. It's capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.4–4.9 s.

8 Series Coupe

BMW's 8 Series is their range of grand touring coupes, which began production in 1990 and are designed for unparalleled luxury and performance. The first generation of the 8 Series coupes received 4.0 L to 5.6 L V8 and V12 engines, whereas the second generation G15 (2019 onwards) is powered by a 3.0 L inline six-cylinder and 3.0 L inline six-cylinder twin-turbo diesel with electric boost motor for the mild-hybrid 840d xDrive. It uses BMW's Carbon Core technology that integrates carbon fiber in the chassis and comes with a double-wishbone front suspension and rear multi-link suspension for good handling, and on most trims, the xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

M8 Coupe

The M8 is BMW's top-of-the-line coupe and the high-performance version of the 8 Series. It comes built on BMW's CLAR platform and is powered by a 4.4 L V8 eight-cylinder twin-turbo rated at 591 hp and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.2 seconds. This engine is mated to a BMW M-Steptronic eight-speed automatic transmission. It can come with M Performance Parts such as a sports steering wheel, carbon fiber parts, side skirts, M rims, and a larger rear spoiler.
